The Mayans and 2012

In recent years the date December 21, 2012 has become ingrained in human consciousness as a doomsday year where all of humanity will cease to exist. The Mayan Calender is a Cyclic Calender that represents a universal cycle of time. After it reaches 0 it starts again. Just like the Earth revolving around the sun, does our planet cease to exist on December 31st each year? Or does it start a new cycle on January 1st? Here are some facts about the famous Mayan Calender:

* The Mayan calender began on August 13th 3113 B.C

* The Mayan calender finishes its cycle on December 21st 2012

* The Mayan calender's cycle is 1,872,000 Days

* The Mayan calender is divided up into 13 subcycles called"Buktans" whose length is equal to 144,000 days each

* Each of these Buktans is divided up into 20 Katuns whose length is equal to 7200 days each.

* The are 260 Katuns in an entire cycle of the calender and we are in the last 2.5 years of the entire cycle!

On a non-factual note it is interesting to point out the correlation of the 144,000 day cycle of a Buktan in regards to the number used in book of revelations in the Bible.

The Mayan Calender represents a shift upwards in the harmonics of the energies of the psychical world. Consider playing a 'C' Scale on a Piano. We start off at 'C', work our way up the scale and then we hit a higher harmonic of 'C'. Same start point, higher harmonic. There is evidence in our environment of higher energetic patterns coming into play, such as the speed of time increasing, weather patterns alterating dramatically all over the world, and the lack of Sun spots that has been observed on our sun over the last decade.
